An original typeface designed for filet crochet. Filet crochet is a technique that uses a grid of open and closed squares to form a pattern. It was popularised in the mid-nineteenth century, and intended to imitate filet lace. I used size 30 cotton thread and a 1.0mm hook.
Part of Index’s Digital Archiving: Gallery of Anonymous Memories. The Nine Ladies site is maintained by English Heritage, who describe a small early Bronze Age stone circle believed to depict nine ladies turned to stone for dancing on Sunday. Given that it is one of the most visited circles in the north of England, there is little known about it.
This project uses photogrammetry to construct a digital re-interpretation of the heritage site, including its artefacts and monuments, with the re-telling of its histories supported by archival material (audio, image, video).

A research publication to support my Nine Ladies Stone Circle project, part of Index’s Digital Archiving: Gallery of Anonymous Memories.. The document is 50 pages (and counting) and includes six weeks of practical and theoretical work. It documents the project from idea to outcome.
A concept for the touring exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe: Memories of Drawings, and Counterform—a contemporary art gallery. Its clear, intentional identity gives space to the work on display. The exhibition features twenty one drawings spanning the period that established O’Keeffe as a major figure in American Modernism.
A cyanotype animation of the first solar eclipse captured on film on 28 May 1900 by Nevil Maskelyne and later scanned and restored by conservation experts at the BFI National Archive. This animation is composed of 62 frames from the original footage which that were printed on the day of the most recent solar eclipse, 12 August 2026.

My MA Design project: a platform that allows users to share the objects that matter to them and the stories they tell. Objects can be uploaded as three-dimensional scans to private or public collections. It takes an experimental, practice-led approach to archival research and explores the connections between digital and material culture.
The featured public collection Objects of Pride invites contributions from LGBTQIA+ users to archive and preserve the material expressions of Pride Month.
